Although we have always believed in avoiding the use of products containing potentially hazardous chemicals, it is often very difficult to find ones that really are as pure or contain only the natural ingredients that they claim to.

The inspiration for the Manna Range of cosmetics originates from a personal need for truly natural products of a quality that we couldn’t find elsewhere, as well as to meet the growing interest from our existing customers.

Firstly, a few years ago, one of our children developed non-healing open sores on her arms, legs and face. She suffered an eczema that was so irritating that it caused the skin to bleed.

We noticed that it had manifest once she reached an age of washing her hair daily and using face and body creams.

She was of course sensitive to the soap, shampoos and creams she was applying; all of which contained the known irritants sodium or ammonium laurel sulphate, parabens, polyethylene glycols and other unpleasant chemicals.

Subsequently work began on producing soaps and hair care products that were free from these chemicals, yet unlike many other products, also cleansed and actually nourished the body.

Secondly, customers who bought Metabolics products were asking us increasingly if we could manufacture a range of natural body products.

Building on the same premise of purity that we use for all our Metabolics supplements, we developed these products to further meet the demands of our customers and so the Manna Range was born.

We spent 2 years developing a range of natural body products that contain no parabens, SLS or ALS or any undesirable substances at all. As many people already know 60% of what is applied to the skin is absorbed into the body. As such we have taken great care to produce products that are completely non toxic as well as being full of carefully selected high quality oils and nutrients to feed and nourish the skin.
